Introducing Cathy
Cathy has always had a passion for health and healing. She received her massage certification from Heartwood Mountain Institute in 2006. In 2016, she received her certification for Ayurvedic massage from the Northwest Institute of Ayurveda.
She also specializes in integrating mindfulness with Swedish deep tissue and Ayurvedic massage. She has recently relocated from northern California and is excited to be practicing in Golden, Colorado.
In addition to massage, Cathy is a certified Reiki practitioner and currently offers remote services as well as in-person sessions. There is also an additional option for mini Reiki sessions as an add-on to massage.
Reiki is known to assist with alleviating physiological ailments that have manifested in the body, such as chronic illness and pain.
The first initial Reiki session is 90 minutes and will consist of 1 hour of Reiki and 30 minutes of intuitive coaching.
Health and nutritional coaching is an additional service that can also be provided upon request.
Massage Services
All massages are performed on a Ridgeway Biomat. The Biomat delivers infrared heat that is conducted through many small amethyst crystals.
It is important to stay well hydrated after a massage because the infrared heat promotes detoxification as well as deep relaxation. Each massage is customized to your exact needs with the use of seasonal organic oils.

Ayurvedic Massage
Ayurvedic massage was developed in India. This type of massage utilizes warm organic oil, and is poured over the body. The oil is worked into the muscles by using longer, relaxing strokes and can also be combined with deep tissue massage treatments. Ayurvedic massage is excellent for grounding and can dramatically improve sleep quality. It can also provide significant skin hydration which can be very helpful to those living in this beautiful mountain environment.
After each session, the room is sterilized using non-toxic, anti-bacterial and anti-microbial products. In order to best serve our chemically sensitive clients, we ask that you abstain from using any scented products such as perfumes, oils, creams and lotions.

Cancellation
All appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full the full amount of the session unless the cancelled appointment is due to illness or a family or medical emergency.
